Think Pink with Celine Dion and Rene Angelil

Celine Dion and Rene Angelil team up with Hbc and fashion designer Simon Chang in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Celine Dion and René Angelil are helping Canadians to "Think Pink" this October through a Hudson's Bay Company campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For the month of October, Hudson's Bay Company stores across Canada will offer a variety of pink merchandise, including an exclusive specially designed men's and women's polo shirt created by Canadian fashion designer Simon Chang and modeled by Celine and René.

Proceeds from the sale of pink merchandise will help raise funds for the
cause.

"When you combine Simon's design, Celine's incredible talent, Hbc's
national reach and the generosity of our customers, you've got a winning
combination that can make a difference in creating a future without breast
cancer," said Marc Chouinard, President, Hbc MG. "Last year's specially
designed shirt by Simon sold out in a matter of days. We hope that this year's polo shirts for men and women, along with a broad assortment of pink product will receive the same response from our customers."

"I am proud", says Celine, "to play a part in this wonderful fashion
promotion that will raise funds for a disease that deeply touches so many
Canadian families. Joining me in this year's campaign to raise funds for
research, education and awareness is my husband René."

Designed by Canadian fashion designer Simon Chang, the women's polo shirt, pink three-quarter length sleeve with a beautifully embroidered pink ribbon with silver details on the lapel, will be sold exclusively in all Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters, and Designer Depot stores across Canada. The men's polo shirt, pink with a white collar and a ribbon featured on the left breast will be sold in all Bay stores across Canada.

Both polo shirts are available for only $24.99.

In 2005, an estimated 21,600 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast
cancer. Hudson's Bay Company campaign is expected to raise $500,000 which will go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation to benefit breast cancer research, and national education and community awareness programs.
