L’Oréal plans to launch its first professional skincare line. The range, titled Kéraskin Esthetics, is due to launch by the end of the year.
For its new high-end brand, also L’Oréal’s first brand for treatment cabins, the Professional Products division of French group concocted
around 30 facial products, including 15 for retail with a high-end price positioning. “Our prices are higher than Decléor or Carita,” Kéraskin Esthetics marketing director Laure Wax said at a press conference in Paris.
Prices will range from ˆ30 for a moisturizing product and ˆ150 for an anti-aging product. As far as treatments are concerned, they will be around ˆ100 an hour, Wax said in a statement.
The product formulas benefit from L’Oréal R&D’s latest ingredients, such as Pro-Xylane and LHA, and from the advice of French skin expert Joëlle Ciocco, inventor of the Epidermologue method.
The launch will start in Europe at the end of the year followed by the US in September 2008, then the rest of the world. [COSMETIQUENEWS.COM]
