Out of 300 different celebrity hairstyles available to view, Jessica Simpson's new shorter hairstyle was the most popular.
"Jessica Simpson, and her sister, Ashlee, are major icons among today's beauty-conscious women," observed BeautyRiot editor in chief, Kirsten Lambertsen.
"Jessica Simpson's new hairstyle started a trend with other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, and Nicole Richie. These women have all recently gone shorter, sporting chic, blunt, shoulder-length or shorter hairstyles. It's a fresh departure from the extra-long hair we've been seeing for ages."
Second place went to Jessica Simpson's pop star sister, Ashlee, whose brunette shag hairstyle created quite a sensation. Ashlee Simpson recently chopped her hair even shorter to a chin-length layered bob and lightened her haircolor by several shades.
