Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has slammed reports her infant son Bronx Mowgli is nursing a broken arm, insisting the baby is "fine."

The singer, who became the mom to her first son with her husband Pete Wentz in November 2008, cancelled an appearance at an Eleven Spa Vegas party in Nevada on Wednesday, prompting rumors her child was unwell.

All is well, and the nasty claims have been blasted by Simpson-Wentz's representative, who blames her no-show on scheduling issues, reports E! Online.

The spokesperson says about the rumored injury, "It's not true. Everything is fine."
