Britney Spears' two-year-old son, who was hospitalized over the weekend, has been released.

Jayden James was admitted to hospital following a reaction to something he ate, Reuters reported.

Spears' family posted a statement on her official website, which said the toddler was admitted to hospital on Sunday.

"Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested," the statement says.

 

A source has since revealed that Jayden "is doing fine".

Britney Spears, 26, and her mother, Lynne, spent Sunday night at the hospital with him.
