Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Settle Down in Chateau in France
Now that Angelina Jolie is over with her official duties at the Cannes Film Festival are finished, the family moved into ancient Chateau Miraval.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have signed a three year lease on Chateau Miraval, a pre Roman estate said to be worth $70 million. The palatial 35 bedroom mansion is located in Brignol, France.
Now that Angelina’s official duties at the Cannes Film Festival are finished, the family will move into Chateau Miraval.
Chateau Miraval estate contains a lake, vineyard, and outdoor and indoor pools. The beautifully manicured grounds are bordered by woodlands and include 20 fountains and a variety of stone walled terraces planted with 13 different varieties of olives.
No word on what the financial implication is to secure a three year lease on a $70 million property.
Neighboring properties belong to Vanessa Paradis, Bono, Johnny Depp and David Beckham.
The Jolie-Pitt clan descended upon the French Riviera with children in tow nearly a month ago via private jet with a team of nannies and a security detail.
Angelina and Brad enjoyed a temporary stay at the breathtaking Villa Maryland in St. Jean Cap Ferret as the guests of billionaire Paul Allen, one of the founders of Microsoft.
