More information is emerging about Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby-daddy, Casey Aldridge. And it seems he's not another K-Fed in Spears family.
A source told reporters that Casey has always been extremely close to the Spears family and seen as a good influence on the youngest Spears daughter: "He took amazing care of Jamie Lynn. Anything ever went wrong, he always comforted her. He took care of her."
Jamie Lynn’s beau is a high school sports star who reportedly lives with the young actress and her mother, Lynne, at their Hollywood condo while she films her Nickelodeon series, Zoey 101.
The source goes on to say that a baby probably wasn’t in Casey’s short term plans, but he will stand by Jamie Lynn: "I'm sure it was a shock to him. He has all sorts of plans for his future. He wants to start his own business, maybe get a degree and make something of himself.
"He's a stand-up guy, and he will take care of the baby. He is not the type to let her deal with it on her own. He will be there in any way he can... I know a baby wasn't in his plans for right now, but he'll do what he has to do, and he'll be a good father. He really will."
