Katie Holmes "definitely" wants more children with husband Tom Cruise after having such an easy pregnancy with her daughter, Suri.

Katie Holmes, 28, who gave birth to the couple's daughter last April, says she was thrilled by the experience. She said experienced no morning sickness while she was expecting and had no food craving besides cupcakes.

"I felt so proud to be having a baby and so excited. And I felt closer to other women -- to my sisters, to my mom," Katie Holmes tells Harper's Bazaar, "I felt empowered, like, 'I've given birth. I did it! There's nothing I can't handle.'"

Holmes says the transition from movie star to mother has been easy adding, "I've really enjoyed this time that I have taken to be with Suri as well as the challenges of the first couple of months: feeding and pumping, learning to decipher what each cry means - Is she hungry? Is she tired? Does she need a fresh diaper? - and figuring out how to really help her."

When asked if she wants more children with Cruise she adds, "Definitely!"
