Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven Voight claims that she and her partner Brad Pitt named their baby daughter, Shiloh, after him.

James Haven claims that his parents - John Voight and marcheline Bertrand - had initially decided to name him James Shiloh Voight, but they later decided in favour of his present name.

"At the last second, my parents gave me Haven instead," Contactmusic quoted Haven as saying. "I was almost in tears - I was so honoured."

 

"So it was very cool when Brad and Angie came to me and said: 'We're thinking of names and our favourite is Shiloh. We know that was your original name, so would that be OK?'" he added.

Angelina Jolie's brother said that having his niece named Shiloh, which means 'messiah' or 'peaceful one', was a great honour for him.
