Actress Jolie, who has two adopted children of her own, thinks Madonna found a child to adopt in the wrong way.

"Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where he was born. It's a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption," Angelina Jolie said in an interview with French magazine Gala.

"Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal."

 

However, Angelina Jolie believes Madonna's intentions were good and is amazed at the media reaction to her adoption.

"I have been horrified by the attacks she's been subjected to. All that should count is the happiness of her little David," Jolie said.

Madonna brought 1-year-old David to the UK from his home country of Malawi in October of last year. He will stay with Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie for 18 months before Malawian officials decide whether or not they are legally able to adopt the child. [SOURCE: DAILY DISH]
