Angelina Jolie took baby daughter to see her mom Marcheline - to grant her mother's wish to see Shiloh.
Angelina Jolie has taken newborn daughter Shiloh Nouvel to visit her dying grandmother, MSN has reported.
Angelina Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand who has terminal cancer was unable to be by Angelina's side when she gave birth in Namibia last month.
Angelina Jolie took Shiloh to see Marcheline as soon as they arrived to Los Angeles from Africa.
"Angelina and her mother are really close. Their time apart during the latter stages of her pregnancy was tough," reports The Sun newspaper (UK).
Angelina Jolieoriginally wanted to give birth to Shiloh in France, the country where her mother was born and raised.
"Angelina has been determined to let her mother hold Shiloh before it was too late," a source told the newspaper.
The reunion was said to have left the brunette actress - who already has two adopted children, 4-year-old Maddox, and 16-month-old Zahara - extremely emotional.
The source added "Angelina was overwhelmed that her mother managed to battle through to see her granddaughter at last."
