The "Twilight" leading star has been spotted tossing his tousled, unkempt hairstyle in favor of a short, military style haircut.

Robert is predicted to have a very hectic filming schedule as "Twilight" sequel, "New Moon," already has a release date of November 20, 2009.

 

Becoming a household name ever since he starred as Edward Cullen in vampire blockbuster "Twilight", Robert Pattinson is counted by MTV News as one of its Men of the Year.

In another Robert Pattinson news, the movie heartthrob has told British magazine Closer that before becoming an actor he used to be a model from the age of 12.

Unfortunately, he lost the job when he was 16 years old because he started to look too manly.

"When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool," so Robert tells the publication.

"Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modeling career."
