Katie Holmes has chosen a gown by Giorgio Armani for her wedding to Tom Cruise.

A spokesman for Katie Holmes and her fiancé Tom Cruise has confirmed they will tie the knot in Italy in November.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Armani has designed the dress for the big day.

"Armani has designed five outfits for Katie to wear to various events throughout the wedding weekend," the reputable fashion newspaper says.

Earlier this month, Katie Holmes - who has a baby daughter, Suri, with Tom - revealed she had chosen her wedding dress and has already had a fitting.

Speaking at Paris Fashion Week, Katie said: "I already have my dress."

Armani has been a designer of choice for Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise for their international promotional tours for "Mission: Impossible III" and "Batman Begins", during which they announced their engagement.

A spokesman for Italian couturier has so far refused to comment on the wedding dress reports.
