Paris Hilton is the first celebrity tpo take sides in Heather Mills - Paul McCartney separation.
Paris starred in a video by PeTA at Heather's home, and it has changed her perspective on what she can wear.
"Paris does not wear fur, nor will she wear fur described as artificial fur knowing it came off the backs of animals," Paris' spokesman Elliott Mintz said.
"She is grateful to Heather for educating us on this terrible subject."
Heather Mills, Lady McCartney, a former glamour model, is the wife of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney. The couple announced their separation in May 2006.
Last week Heather Mills admitted that in 1988, while aged nineteen, she took part in a photoshoot with a male model with whom she performed simulated sexual acts. The photos were published in a German book entitled Die Freuden der Liebe (The Joys of Love).
When the media reported on the photos in 2006, her representatives insisted that the book was not pornography because it was a sexual advice manual; however, the pictures are not accompanied by any words.
Similar rumours have circulated that for several years Heather Mills had been an international prostitute who serviced a wealthy Middle Eastern clientele, including Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed.
In June, Mills-McCartney's lawyers confirmed that she would be taking legal action against the News of the World for its "vicious slurs."
