Tom Cruise is planning to build a huge family home for his two adopted children, his fiancée Katie Holmes and their new baby, Suri.

The Hollywood actor has reportedly bought a plot from the Church of Scientology for $15 million. The plot is overlooking the San Fernando Valley.

"Tom plans to spend up to $30 million on the project after agreeing to knock down one existing property and buying a second one next door," Hollywood.com reports.

 

Tom Cruise allegedly wanted to buy a third property next to the plot to try and build an even bigger house, but the neighbours refused to move.

The move could be a result of recent reports that reported Tom Cruise's Beverly Hills rented mansion is haunted as previous residents of the rented house on Alpine Lane experienced outer life sensations there.

But then again, does Scientology believe in ghosts?
