The actress who lights up the screen in The Da Vinci Code and has wowed the crowds on the Cannes red carpet, Audrey Tautou still doesn't think she's beautiful.

"I don't consider myself pretty," she stunned reporters in France, wearing a couture gown and pixie haircut.

Audrey Tautou rose to international fame by playing the eccentric Amélie from the romantic French comedy of the same name in 2001.

 

However, in her native France Audrey Tautou was already well-known for her work in the earlier "Venus Beauty Institute."

"I consider Julia Roberts or Monica Bellucci, those kind of women, as beauties. But me, I'm cute," the self-effacing Audrey Tautou told reporters in France.
