Obviously Angelina Jolie is a big influence on Brad Pitt, as he has had his first tattoo etched on his famous body to commemorate becoming father to girlfriend's adopted children.

According to reports, Brad Pitt requested a Buddhist prayer of protection, to look after little Maddox and Zahara, inked onto his lower back.

 

Brad Pitt's first tattoos, which look like three black scratches, match one of Angelina's own tattoos.

Brad Pitt didn't have any tattoos of his own until now, but two of his movie roles have featured tattoos. In "Ocean's Eleven" his character Rusty Ryan has a black tribal tattoo design on his left hand.

In director Guy Ritchie’s "Snatch", Brad Pitt plays the eccentric character Mickey O’Neil, a Gypsy with a talent for fighting.

Sporting almost as intense a physique as in "Fight Club," Brad Pitt is also covered with theatrical tattoos, with work on his arms, chest, abdomen and back.
