Actress Natalie Portman says she actually enjoyed the experience of shaving her head for her role in "V For Vendetta."
It was "kind of wonderful to throw vanity away for a bit," Natalie Portman, 24, told the Daily Mail at the London premiere of the political thriller.

Natalie Portman had her head shaved on screen for the film adaptation of Alan Moore's graphic novel V for Vendetta, set for release on March 17, 2006.
"Ultimately it's an action movie, it's very entertaining but after you leave you will have a lot to fight about," Natalie Portman told the newspaper.
Natalie Portman plays Evey Hammond, the young woman who is saved from the secret police by the main character, V.
Natalie Portman sported her shaved head at the Revenge of the Sith premieres. Natalie kept her hair short for most of 2005, had a faux-hawk mohawk, and briefly sported a full mohawk in late August.
