Jake Gyllenhaal put the checked shirt he wore in the gay cowboy drama on the eBay earlier this month, with a starting price of $9.99.
After more than 150 bids, the Brokeback shirt was sold to an anonymous fan this week.

Brokeback Mountain directed by Ang Lee stars Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, and Michelle Williams. Brokeback Mountain is based on a short story of the same name by American novelist Annie Proulx and depicts a sexual and emotional relationship between two men living in the American West from the 1960s to 1980s.
Brokeback Mountain is the story of Ennis del Mar (Heath Ledger) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal), two young men who meet and fall in love in 1963 on a sheep-herding job on the fictional Brokeback Mountain in Wyoming. The film documents their complex relationship over the next twenty years.
Since its release Brokeback Mountain enjoys a huge commercial success. As of February 20, 2006, Brokeback Mountain had grossed more than $72 million in North America and $44.5 million elsewhere, adding up to a worldwide gross of more than $116 million. Brokeback Mountain cost about U.S.$14 million to produce.
Brokeback Mountain is Academy Award-nominated. The film has already won a few BAFTA and Golden Globe awards.
