According to a source, Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Vince Vaughn organised the low-key event and invited just a handful of close friends.

This birthday celebration was a far cry from Jen's party last year, which was a lavish, star-studded Beverly Hills bash thrown by hubby at the time Brad Pitt.

That year, guests like Mel Gibson and Gwen Stefani were serenaded by live music and savoured steak and lobster.

However, this year Jennifer Aniston got something more precious than a lobster - a big heart-shaped Tiffany's diamond from Vince.

"It's modern and fun, Jen loved it. It's not an engagement ring, but it put a big smile on her face all day," an insider claims.
