Nobody said being new mom is easy. Ask Britney Spears.

According to Life & Style magazine, Britney Spears is reportedly having "dark thoughts" that something awful may happen to her baby.

"I'm so nervous I'm not doing things right," Britney Spears reportedly told a friend.

And according to PAGE SIX hears Spears isn't happy about her hubby's wild lifestyle. Britney Spears is said to be upset that Kevin is not spending enough time helping her with their baby son, Sean Preston. Kevin has also reportedly been avoiding his fatherly duties by partying till the early hours at nightclubs.

Britney Spears' rep insists that she's fine. And according to leading health web sourse, MayoClinic.com, being nervous and even depressed after childbirth isn't a character flaw or a weakness. For many, it's a normal part of giving birth.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists estimates that 70 percent to 85 percent of women experience the baby blues after childbirth. This condition includes symptoms such as sadness and anxiety.
