Last month, Katie Holmes, who has been romancing Tom since April this year, revealed she wanted a "simple" wedding.

Katie Holmes told W magazine she doesn't want a glitzy affair when the couple exchanges vows - but wants it to be low key.

The screen beauty, 26, also revealed she is looking to wear an understated, classical gown.

Fashion editor of W magazine Rob Haskell said: "She wants a very simple, classical dress and a traditional and simple wedding."

However, it's still unclear who is going to design the wedding dress for the Hollywood power couple. According to media reports, Giorgio Armani may step in. But the couple's rep said nothing is clear yet.

In the meanwhile, Katie Holmes has attended a fashion show of Rock&Republic and was spotted wearing the jeans Victoria Beckham designer for her.

"We don’t have a date just yet, but there is so much excitement going on. It’s just amazing," Katie Holmes said.
