Katie Holmes may wear a wedding dress designed by Italian couturier Giorgio Armani.

According to The Sun (UK), the wedding dress for Katie Holmes will come as a complimentary gift from Giorgio Armani himself.

Tom Cruise has reportedly asked Giorgio Armani to design Katie Holmes' wedding dress. "Tom has a great relationship with Giorgio Armani. Most of the clothes you see him and Katie wear come from Armani personally," The Sun source says.

"Tom asked Giorgio to design the dress especially and he has had Katie in for several fittings. It's unusual for the groom to have a say in the dress but he has had a lot of input."

Sources close to the couple claim the parents-to-be will marry in Mexico, after falling in love with the lavish Ritz-Carlton in Cancun.

However, a spokesperson for Tom says nothing's set in stone. "We've heard the rumours, but no date has been set yet," said the rep.

In the meanwhile, Katie Holmes has quit her new movie over concerns for her unborn child. Katie made a reasonable decision that the stress of working on a film set wouldn't help her pregnancy.
