Best Buddies Canada, a national charitable organization dedicated to fostering friendships between students and individuals with intellectual disabilities, will be honouring Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Burt Reynolds at its 13th annual benefit gala in Toronto on September 10, 2007.
The event, which takes place during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), celebrates the importance of Best Buddies’ friendships and the critical role they play in the development of an inclusive society.
Attracting close to 500 of Toronto’s film and business leaders, the annual gala will take place at The Carlu, featuring an international film premiere and a special musical performance by Juno Award Winner Chantal Kreviazuk
