Over the past six years, Harebell by Shelli Oh has become synonymous with the words precious, feminine, and ethereal.
Feminine mystique allure of Harebell by Shelli Oh line has undeniably secured the label’s place among the favorites in the Canadian fashion industry. Shelli Oh debuted with her first collection in the fall of 1997. After completing her training in Ryerson University’s fashion design/manufacturing program Oh was offered a prominent position with New York fashion designer Betsey Johnson. One year later, Oh returned to Toronto to launch the Harebell label.
Harebell collections were well accepted in Canada and the US. Harebell is sold in over 70 boutiques across the United States. In 2002 Shelli Oh became one of 6 designers in Ontario and 25 designers nationally to receive a Matinee Fashion Foundation grant.
The launch of Oh Menswear allowed Shelli Oh to flex her design muscles in a completely new area. A fusion of what Shelli Oh calls ‘art-house, geek rock and roll’, Oh Menswear line strives to offer men a self-expressive voice through the simple details.
