hey girlies, fb is the life i live! k not actually but they have cute stuff and just becasue ur parents choose not to spoil u doesnt mean u shud be cruel to others...like they have cute suff, and they shud start a line of accesoeries to go with their fantabulous style....eglington location is better then queen and no matter what ppl say the staff are really nice AND FAMAZIN SALES! what more could a sexy girl like me ask for??
angelpuss 28 January 2006, 00:22
What has happened girlz !!!! this trend is about over like the yo yo or something. Straight up......this plain clothing look was fly back in Montreal but since these fake and bake, "Daddy I need some money", call you Babe cuz you a pig in the city, grammatically impaired, dumbass 15 yrs old got a hold of it......well, its sad to say the trends over.
Stargirl 25 January 2006, 21:30
I actually spend A LOT of money in Space fb..I have been a loyal customer since I orginally shopped back in the days in Montreal...I know the store is pretty much self-serve but, since they've opened up here in T.O. I've had nothing but rude girls one that I should mention..I believe her name is MERISSA @the Eglinton Rd. location. I truely & honestly believe that she should go back to skool or wherever the hell she came from & learn how to speak with respect to her customers in a PROFESSIONAL manner. She talks like a valley girl who just came straight out of CLUELESS...!!! What i couldn't believe was that she was the assistant mgr???What the f*C*???
Anyways, enough about her...other than the stupidity of that girl...I definitly, absolutely love their SALES..Yes!! & their new line of clothing....sizes got a tad bit bigger which I really don't like due to the fact that i was already accustomed to the sizing from before.
Ah....that feel so much better expressing the way I feel..Thankx Space fb
F**K U MERISSA>>>

ughh i hate the return policy at fb... you absolutley cant return ANYTHING you bought on sale, anything you bought on a holiday, theres only a possibility of store credit- within seven days, you cant even get refunded your money... even so, i ftill find myself buying things from there... sale prices are AMAZING
Hannah 10 December 2005, 17:18
I definatly disagree with everybody who says that people who wear FB are tacky whores. I am sure that there are items that some would call revealing (and/or whore like), but you can find those items at LITERALLY any store. I live in the heart of Toronto, and I see people wearing FB everywhere, but it is completely unfair to categorize FB-wearers as "tacky whores". If you do not agree in buying designed labels, than I support you 100%, but for those people who do, I also support you. If you are most comforteble and happy with clothes from stores like FB, go ahead any buy them! Sure, I consider them a bit on the expensive side, and the stitches DO FALL OUT REALLY EASILY, but they are comfy, and for people with VERY small frames, like me, it is one of a limited amout of stores with clothes that fit our body sizes. And for those who dont support FB, it is fine to give your personal opinion (with limits), but please hold back the name calling, and disrespecting. Somebody (Francois) worked very hard to design the line, and he should definatly continue to do so.
Emily 03 December 2005, 19:25
hey im from montreal, i do alot of shopping at fb cuz they have rly small sizes that fit pretty well. some advice though wait for the sales becasue prices go down like crazy and i dnt know if they do it anymore but it used to be that if you pay cash u dnt have to pay tax but u have to ask
Em 02 December 2005, 14:17
Space FB has gorgeous.. and good quality clothes. Yeah.. they are plain and simple... but thats the approch. Also...if you have an sense of style you'd realized that you can easily "spice" up something simple with accessories and things. YEAHH F.B
Mel 28 November 2005, 16:21
I dont understand why people bother to put such negative comment for something they dont like, its not a political capaing its just a fashion review.
For once we got a affordable dessigner so lets support him, unless u got constructive critics keep them for yourselfs....Fb is great.
IM A GUY 20 October 2005, 21:33
space fb clothes for men are the best!!i love clothes that are made for girls that make guy stuff too!
Kate Moss 20 October 2005, 18:38
Nobody likes FB.... it's so ugly... unbelievable what people can say here! If you want to look like some cheap tacky whore, go ahead and where fb, you bunch of comformist boring people who all think they look cool because they read Teen People magazine or Cosmogirl!!!! HAHAHHAHA!

Fb is the tackiest label ever, body hugging clothes, ugh, no thanks.... and their attempt to do high street fashionable stuff is cheesy...

EVERYONE HATES FB!!!!!!!
Steph 09 October 2005, 02:11
Ya space FB is pretty chill!!! When ever you wear it in montreal you ll see about 20 other girls wearing it too in the same or different color as u. FB used to be the IN thing to have 5 years ago, even if its still popular its not like it use to be.
They really need to get better matterials cause the stiching falls appart after you have worn it a couple of times.
The staff is pretty friendly to me when i go in. Maybe thats just because my friend works there but give the girls that work there a chance they have to deal wit JAPS all day long so give them a break!!! And the clothes there are so NOT expensive but rather cheap compare to a juicy track suit!!!!
Anyway Fb keep on doing what your doing since it seems like it working out for you !!!!
And who ever made up that stupid rumor about the clothes being made in swearshops is stupid but i can tell you one this for sure. the empolyees wear the clothes when its new merchendize and then at the end of the day just put it back on the rack after they have sweated in it all day and they item has tooken the shape of there body to sell to us!!!
Alyssa 08 October 2005, 17:22
Well, FB is basically the canadian version of American Apparel and frankly, they both have plain stuff with good fits... The prices are a bit on the expensive side for polyester... but wait for the sales and its a great deal... I wouldn't base a whole entire style on the clothes but if your looking for a sweatshirt to layer under your winter jacket for those canadian winters, this is the place to go.
too funny! 30 September 2005, 17:58
Just by reading the comments of people who give fb a 5 stars rating makes the ratings go down..... i mean the girl who said guys say she look cute and sexy......... wtf!? proof some people need a head check lollllllll!

and laura..... michael kors and zac posen are super tacky designers........ zac posen is backed up by p diddy, now wonder is is so well known within the industry. His shows are attended by muses like claire danes and even ashley olsen did an internship..... but minus all the hype, he is nothing at all, his clothes lack creativity, and substance. he is totally out of date. so is michael kors. tackiest american designer ever.

if you wanna check out great designers, log on to style.com and check out stuff from Sophia Kolosaki, Roland Mouret, Miu Miu, Jil sander........ those are much much better clothes sweetheart! Big names mean nothing, just because your carrying a lv bag does not mean your cool, logos are the most annoying trend ever. if you get paid to wear it, FINE, but being a walking billboard? no thanks.

fb is just really too terrible now.
Aimy 29 September 2005, 22:24
Why is the stuff at the Eglinton location so far this fall not very good? Where is the selection? :( Like uck! Still my all time favourite store! Love the spring lines.
stefany 15 September 2005, 20:21
I think space fb has the prettiest clothes!! they're so comfy and most of all, so sexy and hot!!! I only wear space fb clothes... and sorry but i don't look like a whore, guys tell me I look cute and sexy so sh*t up!! so yeah.. i love space fb.
alice 04 September 2005, 20:23
i first found out about fb 2 years ago from people who go to my school and i think that once you first see their stuff, you think, "wow, this stuff's nice and comfy" but then they start getting old and boring because they're really plain and have the same several colours for almost all of their clothes.
their new line with the island on sweaters are very unpleasant. they look like something a 6 year old would wear.
over all, i think it's an okay store and my favourite thing from there would be their track jackets and when they had the tennis polo/skirt line, i liked their polos.
except they should get some different material because i never know when to hand wash an item of clothing from the store or to hand dry or to machine wash it and then hand dry, etc.
Unkown artist 13 August 2005, 18:10
Sorry, but I want to start off by explaining myself clearly. You are a slave to fashion when you become a slave to trends. Someone with true class and style does not follow trends or take care of what's in or what's not, they wear what they like. That's it that's all. That being said, I want to say that my last visit to the Space FB store at Les Cours Mont Royal was a vast improvement since last season. The new fluffy black skirts, the racerback tanks with stripes and a few chic tops had exquisite detailing. I definitely saw an improvement in the quality of the material. Also, the fact that the new zipped tops now have logo stiching the SAME color as the top is much better.

I think that everyone with a semi brain should just stop wearing logos altogether. It's totally pointless. Unless you are marketing the brand, you only look like a classless dumbass. The worse sales rep are the ones working at Les Cours Mont Royal. Seriously, nothing beats their service : no smile, no welcome, no nothing! That's a five star for the worst service ever. God, they are hired to assist a customer throughout their purchase, that's totally not what they're doing. They act like they are some sort of untouchable class. God, you work at fb and you're paid minimum wage, how cool is that? I am paid minimum wage too, but that's not the point, what I am trying to say is why do they have to act like they're too good to work at fb... Then why don't they just quit and work as models?

To be totally honest, I think Francois Beauregard is a very talented dude that has trouble focusing on what's important and what's secondary in developping a brand. I have trouble seeing what direction he's trying to move his brand.....

And to answer one person below me who says FB is still cool since everyone at Marianopolis or McGill or whatever are wearing it like crazy!? SO WHAT? Any brand that gets overexposed dies REALLY quickly. For example, just think of Parasuco or Baby Phat logo shoes. When they just came out, EVERYONE wore them, like crazy, they were the trendiest items ever...... And now look what happened? Overexposure KILLS.

I don't want to sound snobbish or anything. I personnally work in the fashion industry, and knowing the creme de la creme editors/stylist, I can forecast trends. But I don't want to elaborate too much to bore people out. All l want to say is that if FB wants to get back on track they must :1) Hire new sales rep that are down to earth and friendly 2) Learn the meaning of classic (classic vs trendy), there is nothing worse than being trendy (trendy as in trend follower : ex.: the girl with the boho look...... Tiered skirt, oversized sunglasses, Balenciaga motorcycle handbag......etc). 3) Start focusing on quality over quantity 4) Learn what EXCLUSIVITY means 5) Study fabrics..... There is nothing worse than a well cut dress in an awfully cheap and tacky fabric 6) Focus on brands like Miu Miu, Sophia Kolosaki, Mary Ping..... to get inspiration instead of inspiring from fashion elite's tackiest designers like Michael Kors or Dolce&Gabbana...... 7) Learn that hype means nothing. More there is hype, more likely will it all be over soon. 8) Build up a decent looking website. The actual one is very ugly.... An email address + Store location adress is enough. Better that than a website with all the new collections that is rarely updated.
Tara 22 July 2005, 17:22
First of all, none of you have actual proof that the clothes at fb are made in sweatshops. I'm not guaranteeing that it isn't but you can't just go out and say that when truthfully, you just have a giant stick up your *ss against people who have style.

Secondly, not all of the clothes at fb have the label "fb" on them. Are you blind? The most popular items (in Toronto at least) are the plain v-necks and round neck t-shirts/longsleeves; they don't have a logo on them anywhere. American Apparel is a totally different style and look--don't even try to compare the two.

And thirdly, the style at fb is very understated and subtle because the clothes are very simple. Only some people can pull it off. The only thing I have against fb is the quality of some of their items; the stitching falls out a LOT. Other then that, fb is amazing!
Laura 22 July 2005, 15:28
Ok....first of all, you girls need to STOP obsessing over clothing and START obsessing over your proficiency in the english language....f**k, can any of you spell beyond a grade 6 level???? The fact is, american apparel uses "classic girl" clothing, which can be ordered online for a fraction of the cost in an american apparel store....simply put, they are hustlers, overcharging despite a serious lack in quality. Space fb used to be pretty decent, altho their prices have skyrocketed since 14 year old forest hill (toronto) and westmount (montreal) girls discovered the line. TIME TO MOVE ON TO BETTER THINGS GIRLS!! Take a look at Zac Posen or Michael Kors....they are 2 designers doing big things....
Milan 22 July 2005, 06:15
I am from Montreal and I generally frequent "Les Cours" and maybe about two years ago Fb had a nice little cult following that just exploded into something quite lucrative. The clothes are nice looking but the materials (with the exception of the tweed jackets for the fall/winter season 04, and some other winter jacket in canvas) are very cheap, particularly the jeans. Yes, it's definitely the jeans that need the most attention. Either they are made of a stiff, lifeless cotton, with very dull one dimensional washes, with whiskering done in bleaches as oppose to actually getting a high quality denim which would allow you to do some abarsion work to create dimension. Think Citizens of Humanity. Take a piece of their denim in your hand, preferable a darker wash from this season, like the Dark Cordoba, feel the rich grain, the quality, the amazing contrast of color from the base to the thigh, the perfect classy cut. Oh there can be strech Francois, just not the rubberised stretch that is so inherent to the denim you get. Also, the snaps you used on some models were not strong enough- flimsy little things always snapped open (they were not made for holding jeans together). Go for button closures always. Another thing are the zippers you use for the hoodies (particularly for the season last year where you released the mint green with the brown fb symbol?) That seasons zippers were not great, they broke often.
Other than that, I thougth the two crossed rackets were really cute logo, but I thin Juicy Couture released it about the same time so...I agree with the fellow who said that putting "fb05" is very nineties and tacky while admitting that the pieces are not classic and will be seen as useless once "05" is over.
The girls who work at the Space fb on St.Laraunt are dolls, but unfortunately the salespeople at "Cours" ignore clients often and are very snooty considering they are salesgirls making minimum wage, not models. The assistant manager, Jules I think her name was, was very dismissive and several of the people I work with actually wont go in when she is there. Shes got a rep.
But I think she's there to stay I've seen her there for years. So that's my two cents, hope I didn't come off as rude, I do enjoy your stuff and wish you the best.

Kat 17 July 2005, 15:55
FB is not the best store I have ever been in, although it is very good quality and it by far is better than American Apparel. François Beauregard just know's how to design nice clothing. A bit overpriced but nice and comfortable.
Mel 12 July 2005, 23:42
Space FB is the best! Like half my wardrobe is from there! The colors are so cute (I especially like the turquois one), the fit is phenominal, and the styles are so cute! I usually shop at the one on eglington, sometimes on queen street... but all of the employees seem to be very friendly and upbeat in Toronto. Great job Francois!!

The only thing I recommend is to get a new skirt out, the ones that are currently on sale are a bit long and straight for my style. I suggest a shorter and more fuller skirt may attract more clients :D

YOU ROCK!
Samsara 10 July 2005, 12:06
Hun have u ever been to space Fb.??!! They dont have huge logos over everything the Fb logo is a discreet 'fb' and it is not emblazoned on every article of clothing that they design.

Secondly, don’t diss people for liking a logo you too are just as much a slave for liking the American Apparel brand. The point is you still like a brand and saying that a brand has no gimmick at that what you like about it the brand's lack of reliance of conventional marketing tools such as the logo is still a gimmick. And get over it if you don’t like a capitalist market driven economy move to Cuba or China logos are everywhere.... and Shock Horror!! you too are probably wearing (though in your case unwittingly) and use big brand names that have *gasp* logos right now !!! The point is it is a Fashion INDUSTRY !!!

Thirdly, who cares if the sales people are stupid… If you don’t like the sales people ignore them ... So what if their pretentious 'hipsters'… You know your not one so chillax. And just along with everyone else stupid/ditsy Paris Hilton-esque people have to make money as everyone else does. And why would you need the intellectually elite to be in a basic retail selling you clothes any way???... Frankly, it would be a waste of their potential don’t 'cha think?

Thirdly, I don’t think that poster said anywhere that their ENTIRE wardrobe consisted of Fb products nor did they say anywhere that that they required their parents money to buy their clothes. I buy Fb …ALONG with other brands and I have my own money to buy it thank-you-very-much…

Thoug h I agree with you on two points there are a lot of people in Montreal especially on St. Catherines who definitely have some serious tack fashion going on and they buy Brands rather than style … And im totally with you I’m SUPER sick of seeing the fake LV bags everywhere … People if you cant afford the real thing …then go with out…Don’t buy the Fake one !!! Or if you heart is THAT set on a LV bag and you don’t have the money then E-bay it !!!But I digress I don’t think everyone in Montreal is fed up with Fb … If you went to Marianopolis like I did… everyone is wearing it… and further more I’m at McGill now and all it takes is one look at the McGill campus and you will see not everyone is tired of Fb…. However, the way I see it their happy dressing like that and spending tons of dosh on clothes like that it their choice and who are you to judge them ? Your not necessarily a fashion guru yourself … Your attitude towards ‘real’ fashion is just as narrow as the people in Montreal who buy tack fashion…. My attitude towards the whole thing price really isn’t an issue so long as it fall within what I like and doesn’t make me look like a hideous goat…. And if it so happens that a Fb hoodie, pants or shirt that looks good on me then I’m going to buy it… Regardless of what people think…. and ultimately, fashion is about trends... There are trendsetters and trend followers…So what !! That’s how it been and always will be.
Sonja 09 July 2005, 18:46
I recently bought a pair of jeans at space fb (169.99) I am never to concerned with price only quality. Along with the Jeans i bought a shirt. I love the shirt I dont find it tacky or as some other writers have called whorish, however the quality of the jeans is less than acceptable. My main problem is the zipper never stays up. Every two minutes i am yankin it up... secondly the strings that fit in the bottom always fallin out. It took me an hour to put them back in. thirdly there is a seam at the bottom coming out. I have only had these jeans a month and i was hoping to buy canadian product for well known canadian quality. My other problem is the space fb website. There is no links on it. So with all of my problems there is not even someone i can write to complain to. Havnt been so disappointe since i bought abercombie and fitch
Minly 07 July 2005, 21:55
Worst clothes I've ever seen of my life..... they sell stuff for tacky people with fake boobs.....
Marni fan 01 July 2005, 20:34
Hhaha, girl you're lost, American Apparel is 10000000 times better than fb. Fb used to be really neat and quite trendy, now it's for tacky whores who are stupid enough to spend cash just for some stupid and ugly logo.....

What's cool about American Apparel is they don't have logos, so no one knows what brand you're wearing so once the hype is over, the brand will never be OVER. Because it's logoless.

There is nothing dumber than flashing a logo, when you see someone wearing a logo, the first thing you want to ask the person is "Hey did you get paid to advertise for _____?". Lolllllll. It is true. You work hard or you parents do to make money, why not use your brain and just stop buying from a company as lame as Space FB using you for free publicity? Do you want to be a walking billboard.

I am so tired of the brainless salesperson at Space FB, especially the Space FB store at Cours Mont Royal. The salesgirls basically all look like cheap tacky whores with no taste nor originality. They basically dress the same a lot of the time, dressing up in huge logos...... Girls, do you look in the mirror before getting out of the house? You look like whores, guys like you for one reason, because you look so cheap.

I am being absolutely serious. And those girls act like they're on top of the world just because they're wearing fb stuff. Who f****** cares!? Seriously, fb is s****. It's for those who don't have taste. Wake up!

I think people in Montreal have really grotesque taste. It's about time they wake up and look a bit around. Hello tacky Buffalo, Parasuco and Guess........ Arghhhh, logo whores are everywhere. There is nothing more stupid than being a tacky walking billboard with big glamour hair and tacky french manicured nails and small FAKE white Louis Vuitton Murakami pochette.

There's so many great designers out there (hello Marni, Tess Giberson......). Just walk out of your bubble.

The tackiest crowd in Montreal is USUALLY on st cath street or St laurent blv, basically a bunch of trendy girls/guys with their fugly tank tops and Miss Sixy jeans and Puma LOGO shoes..... Argh, or hipsters with they FAKE messy bed hair, fb hoodie and low tight ripped jeans and dirty beat up Converse All Stars.. And WORST, they think they're original but if they just turn their head, EVERY single hipster kid walking next to them litterally dress the same.

Same goes for the HIPSTER salesperson (in case you don't know what a hipster is, it's a person who thinks he/she is original by favoring indie rock bands and original FAKE vintage clothes, he/she will spend the whole time bragging about his knowledge of music and indie designers, but in the end, they're just a bunch of IGNORANT FAKE SNOBS who know nothing. HAHAH) at the Space FB store on St Laurent, they think they're cool by spinning they're FAUX indie garage rock band who are totally talentless and hopping around to the sound of music. And acting like a bunch of poseur...... Argh, it's just funny to look at them.

Because by now, everyone in Montreal is obviously SICK of fb, and DISGUSTED by the ugly and stupid salesperson at fb. It's about time fb hires BRAINY salesperson (not tacky Nicky Hilton, Lindsay Lohan or Ashlee Simpson wannabes).
SOmeday 19 June 2005, 20:27
American Apparel take over fb yeah right!!
there stuff maybe sweatshop labour free but their quality
is absolute crap and there clothes are disgustingly plain.
fb has some good stuff and it has some not so good stuff
but at least u can feel sexy without looking like a ho.
Not a fan... 15 June 2005, 23:15
American Apparel is soon going to take over fb. I went in fb a few days ago, pity pity.... ...not one customer was there.... The stuff does not seem to sell like hot cakes anymore. Ever heard of rejection of logos? It's about time you realize that. American Apparel is DEFINITELY taking over Space FB in Montreal as the most important comfy clothes store.
heather 13 June 2005, 19:26
i love fb!! all their clothes r super comfy and theyre sexy without being sluty. Theyre definately worth the money. Also, the color selection is amazing!!! they have every color imaginable. I LOVE FB!!!
Paris 01 June 2005, 17:00
I LOVE FB!!!!!!!!! i love the fit too!!! the color slection is great!!! the only thing is that so things are i bit too expencive. like a shirt for $40- 50 but i still love it!!!! its sooooooo in!
Dre 30 May 2005, 18:57
IM IN LUV! I love it. I never found any clothes to fit my skinny body properly but here it is! Its amazing. Stylish yet simple. Eveyrthing fits perfcectly.
ricky hinojosa 23 May 2005, 11:57
Hello all,
Having seen Francois growth from a fashion student, to a leisure wear guru that he is today, I have to say I am impressed.

My only qualm would be, the lack of black in his palate, particularly for guys that prefer not to think twice about what to throw on.

Other than that its two thumbs up!!!
Shira 22 May 2005, 16:38
I was truly disapointed when i went to this store. There were few of what i wanted and the prices were way higher than they needed to be. Some of the clothes there were more expensive than aritiza's clothes and aritzia has nicer clothes. On a good note, the clothes are cumfy.
Enya 29 April 2005, 17:55
Hi, I just went to the store today, and must say the service is still horrible. I've seen vast improvement in the quality of the clothes, the price have all jacked up. The material is better, but still, I wish some things could change. Like the new logo fb 05 is really hideous. The style of the zipped top is half decent, but the new logo is really really nasty.

And the jeans are awfull too. Maybe Francois could take a cue from more upscale brands instead of concentrating on jokes like TOPSHOP. Oh dear. ......

Stop doing so many trendy stuff, concentrate on one thing. I wish they brought back the non zippered hoodies that are not cropped (hey Francois, did you realise that CROPPED is out, you that like to follow trends!?).

Oh dear. I don't get it. Aside from that the rest is so not innovative. I am bored to death. Sorry, but please do an effort, you're loosing a lot of your clientele. Do research on what's really hot and what's not (don't just follow some stupid trendfollower's shopping guide).

Thank you.
Anya 17 April 2005, 10:47
i think they need to work a little bit on their website.. maybe even inclue a little info about sales.. and upcoming clothes and such.
overall i do agree about all the rich bitches shopping there.. but i cant stop them from liking the stuff.
Ashley 04 April 2005, 11:06
FB is the most ridiculous store in Montreal right now. Only the loosers that are 2 years late on the trends are wearing fb. The logo is EVERYWHERE. Terrible quality too.
JULIE 28 March 2005, 16:42
how much are like the tight pants there?
Beth 28 March 2005, 16:38
A lot of people in my school wear space FB clothing and i luv it! Just i dont have any! I would like to know where at least 1 or 2 stores are in montreal. And what are the costs? I love their pants and i would like to know the cost of those teh most thank you so much!
Katherine 27 March 2005, 12:51
OMG I ADORE SPACE FB!!! all their clothes are perfect...but they should have more boutiques in Montreal...preferably near TMR!!
But WHAT IS THEIR WEBSITE!?!?!?? I've tried spacefb.com and it says ''New Site Comming in January 2005".

I LOVE FB!!
thanks,
mallory 26 March 2005, 20:07
I am not going to lie when i say that yes i do, as well as many others, yes i love Space FB. At my school, nobody lived around it and didnt know what it was, and where always asking where i would get all my snazzy clothes and I always said FB and no one would know what it was...but now my whole school is shopping there and holy crap its annoying to have every single person walking around in FB clothes acting likr its their store when really its not.

And another thing, all the sales associates. Whenever I go in to the FB store(in toronto on eglington) I am surrounded by skinny well put together people wearing the FB clothes and then I go and try on that same outfit and I look like a freaking creep. I don't mind a store that does not have manecines making theyre sales people wear clothes, and even if they do WHO CARES RIGHT? Noope not here, for some reason it makes a person feel like they dont want the clothes anymore...maybe its just me but like being at a school with skinny pretty isnt enough, when I go out shopping I don't want to be surrounded by stuck up rich bitches.

I do like the clothes and the styles..too many people are shopping there now however, but honeslty get NORMAL PEOPLE TO SELL YOUR CLOTHES..oh and another thing..they need to know how to do MATH! I went in there and bought a zip up hoodie for 69 dollars and with tax it was 78 dollars I gave the woman a 50 dollar bill and two twenties..SHE ONLY GAVE ME FIVE BUCKS BACK! luckily i went back and got my money..
Angela 10 March 2005, 19:02
Pretty much agree with what's been said previously. fb is getting WAAAAAAAY too trendy.

The service is terrible terrible, looks like they're hiring some stuck up models that wear fb clothes head to toe, which is pretty lame. The salesperson basically hang around dancing. Which is pretty ridiculous. They act like they're some fashion models hopping around and not actually giving great service. I mean, it's already weird to have perfect looking salesperson, but at least, train them!

I am really annoyed by all the fb logos, if anybody goes to McGill University, they know what I mean. I don't think the prices at fb should go any lower, they're ok, the stuff there is pretty cheap. It's all moderately priced, and if you can't afford it then just go when there are sales. The reason why the price is quite cheap is because the quality is proportionnal to the quality. Which means cheaply made polos that don't even stretch (for God's sake, why make a polo that don't even stretch, how are you even supposed to look half decent in it?), terrible quality jeans, blazers that have terrible cuts, coats that have terrible cuts (the tweed coats especially), tacky designs (like the school girl minis, could it get any cheesier).

If it continues this way, American Apparel is soon going to outdo fb, FOR SURE.

I love Space FB, the salespeople at the Cours Mont Royal store leave ALOT to be desired, the "I'm too cool to be selling clothes " 'tude has got to go, but the clothes are amazing.

FB has this great top for spring, it's got spaghetti straps and pleated skirts. Wonderful stuff

Keep up the good work FB
Clo 07 March 2005, 18:40
space fb is not really fashionnable, its just trendy, everyone loves fb cuz its colorful and the styles are hot. Pretty much the only fabric used is cotton, and the styles aren't that original. however, its a really great little store to get fun pieces to match skirts or shirts that have a bit more detail... and its comfy too. But francois, if u read this, please, u dont need all that money, make it less expensive and therefore more affordable for people who cant really pay that more for a tee! luvs, clo

It's great to see Francois B himself is visiting this website. I agree with all the people who say that the brand is getting too mainstream. Once the craze (of the logo) is over, fb will be OUT (well among the trendy *cough* or trend follower crowd). It's cool to see though that they're now giving out more options, I've seen the new stuff for spring, and kudos to Francois, a lot more stuff without logos.

Looks like they're finally heading the right way. Though one thing, I think that if fb wants to improve, they need to do more unique stuff. I read somewhere he's getting his inspiration from stores such as Topshop. It's not what I'd call a bad thing, but why not take inspiration of the runway. Look at Aquascutum (check out style.com). They're awesome. Very basic, yet not overly trendy. I am really looking forward to Space FB's fall collection next season, because the tweeds were very rich. One more thing I need to add, if you don't mind, the fabric of the jeans is too thin, they may look cool for a while, but the fabric seems to be very cheap and most jeans are made too low, they do not flatter most people. They make the butt look saggy, if you know what I mean.

I also heard about the Tommy Hilfiger deal, and unless fb wants to drown faster, it is HIGHLY suggested not to do so. Tommy Hilfiger is a marketing giant that depends on mass production. So it's a huge NO NO.

I also heard fb was about to start an accessories line, which is a positive thing, makes more sale. I remember there was a time when they had the tweed totes, very pretty and demure.

I wish fb could be like back in the days, a bit more exclusive. Because that's what appealed to most people.

It's also a great thing that there are no ads for fb.

I am giving a 5 stars because I am wishing Fb the best of luck in the future.

i love space fb like soooo much!Tons of u guys are like its soooo expensive. i dont know what u guys are talking about. they have really good sales all the time. I atleast go there like once every 2 weeks. THERES ALWAYS A SALE! there prces are low to the ground and off the hook. and plus it fits great. nice, tight, hip, and sexy! n plus 350$ for a winter jacket is soooo cheap!!! i love thier prices. thier low
katerina bonish 05 March 2005, 12:23
the cloths don't even fit me. the sizes are way too small...what do they want...us to be anerexic?? this is redickulous
Francois 03 March 2005, 08:06
Hi guys,
Thanks for all the great comments; even negative comments I take them as being constructive. The only thing that puts me off are comments regarding sweatshops. Most of our stuff is made in Montreal by really nice seamstresses working in a great environment. There are no sweatshops!
Jarrel 27 February 2005, 09:56
I FORGOT TO RATE SPACE FB I LOVE IT 5 STARS 10 ON 10!
Jarrel 27 February 2005, 09:55
Space Fb is my favourite store, the styles are wicked and the clothes last! They are soooooo comfy. But one thing it's also the most ADDICTIVE store ever once u buy something u just have to have more.

I LOVE FB!
Erin Lynch 14 February 2005, 20:27
Used to love it, now EVERYBODY's wearing it, the fb logo is just too everywhere. And what annoys me is the hipster salespersons who think they're cooler than everybody, when it's not the case. They only look like metrosexuals (boys) and wannabe hipsters (girls). The style at fb is horrible, cotton is a bit overplayed.

But I am mostly annoyed by the fact that fb is no longer original and "cool" as it used to, not it's gotten to the point where it'a casual brand with very little appeal among the hip crowd. Probably because they never come up with something innovative, gets so boring in the end.
Sienna 14 February 2005, 05:43
Hey, I pretty much agree with Mary Kate's impressive review of the brand. Very interesting. It's so true that the sales make the line accessible to more people, which makes fb less exclusive. Fb is gonna go pretty downhill now unless Francois B changes his formula. Now fb is that the peak of it's popularity, but unless quality takes over quantity, fb is gonna be OUT in a very short while.

Also, the service at the stores is really horrible.
Vicky 09 February 2005, 14:52
whats the price 4 a pair of pants or those cute skirts every1 has? also whats their website? i have some tna stuff. is it better than tna?
Ducki 08 February 2005, 18:26
WOOT! Space FB rocks..... on sales the prices are ridiculously low...... and its for all ages, wooot!
Naomi 06 February 2005, 15:50
Oh my Goooood i love FB! the cloths are so nice! Although sometimes it can be a little pricey but when there's a sale ooo man there are some awsome deals! I LOVE IT!
Sarah 05 February 2005, 15:02
Great clothes - even better now that they are 50% off. Check out the cute jackets!
29 January 2005, 21:54
39 for long sleeve shirts. 19 if its 50% off.. and around 70 for sweatshirts. not sure about the pants.
29 January 2005, 21:49
it depends when you go. vneck shirts are like 39 and 19 on the 50% off sales. sweatshirts are like around 70 but it depends on which one you get.
ev 29 January 2005, 12:26
Some people are saying that Fb is expensive and some people are saying it's cheap. I just want to know what are the prices like? Like, what's the price range for a pair of pants or a sweatshirt, etc.
27 January 2005, 13:20
space fb is the best. i went to the half off sale and bought so much! its is so comfortable and is in style.
Jaimee 26 January 2005, 13:35
To all those that are spreading rumours that Francois makes his clothes in a sweat shop, find something better to do with your time than to make statements that are obviously untrue! I know Francois personally and worked at Space fb and I can assure you that his designs are NOT made in a sweat shop. His name is only getting bigger, so get used to him, cause he's gonna be around for a long time! Hi Francois!
Jaime 22 January 2005, 17:11
It's a great store with great style but some of the prices are out of control. This can be one of the best store in Toronto if they lower the prices.
James 20 January 2005, 11:39
Space FB is the most ridiculous store in Canada! Francois Beauregard has no sense of fashion. All he does is copying pattern of branded clothing and he makes it in cheap sweat material. The clothes has no personality. On top of that, he's making his clothes in sweatshops! His market in montreal are dumb lil girl of 12 yo... Space FB is totally overratted! It's Sweat for god sake!
Elise 01 January 2005, 09:52
I really like this store. I rarely ever find stuff I like; I HATE mainstream stores like StyleXchange, DKNY.... where the clothes are basically made to sell, with huge and flashy logos, totally FASHION VICTIMS.

Space FB by Francois Beauregard IS mainstream, but he keeps his things simple, and if you don't like flashy logos, a few of his items are logo-free. In his fall/winter 04 collection, you will even be able to find a few hoodies WITHOUT the fb logo, not that it is not nice though! His "yoga" wear is extremely comfortable. It doesn't have a weird cut like most cheaper stores. The reason why Space FB is "slightly" costier than other stores is that the cuts are very well though, the tissue hits the body in all the right places and curves. Some people might even appreciate the fact that XXS sizes are made.

Francois Beauregard is one of the hottest Montreal designer (according to a few surveys), so yes, I do believe that if you're looking for a piece of clothing that's simple, effortlessly chic and you want to support a local designer, Space FB is the store for you!

I also love the fact that Space FB doesn't do any marketing! Makes it more exclusive!
yolia 30 December 2004, 15:36

Katie 28 December 2004, 21:43
I like space FB but i HATE fitted pants and i think they should make the sweatshirts a little thicker. I have this really cute miniskirt from there though!! :)
Liz 23 December 2004, 11:36
I HEART FB!!!
Heres My Story: So I do sports ALL the time and I wanted some clothes that would be comfortable yet stylish I went everywhere for something and I could not find anything! After a while I got so depressed and I started thinking that shopping for what I wanted was hopeless but it wasn't because luckily, my aunt also knew what kind of clothes I wanted so she went to FB and when I saw the clothes I then knew that Fb was now my FAV store!
julez 22 December 2004, 17:03

Liz 22 December 2004, 08:27
I LOVE fb! I like that they have xs and even xxs because some of thier pants are stretchy and I need really small sizes. I love the back, everything is so cheap, I got jeans that were 80$ off! Can anyone tell me if the 50% sale is stil going on? I want to go on monday, and I want to know if there might still be sale stuff since its the day after boxing day.
Julia 18 December 2004, 18:50
FB is the bomb! I just got a zip-up sweatshirt for $35 during the 50% sale-excellent? I think so! Nice job Francois, you are definitely ON the ball in regards to your fashion designs, encore!

Me 17 December 2004, 08:07
LOVE LOVE LOVE, best color selection on the planet!
Tram 15 December 2004, 10:07
My fave store is the one on St-Laurent, less people go there so there's usually a lot more sizes left. One tip to those clever shoppers, only go there during sales period (which are basically at the beginning of December and at the end of July-beginning of August), everything is 50% off. One thing though that turns me off about the sales is that there are no small or medium sizes left at that time. So check in early.

Very friendly staff especially at the one downtown, near the Peel metro in Cours Mont Royal.
Tram 13 December 2004, 12:44
Awesome clothes. The best you can get.
Pat 06 December 2004, 18:37

francois beauregard 25 November 2004, 08:13
Hey guys, thanks for all the great compliments on my clothes; I was disappointed to read that some people think my stuff is made in sweatshops. This is not true! Most of it is made in Montreal by nice ladies that are fairly paid. love, Francois
